Business Development
Everything you need to know about growing the business.
Business development either occurs through clients coming to us and asking us to do work - read about how we respond to these enquiries - or through us being proactive and more strategic with the type of work we want to be doing, whether it's approaching a new client or working with an existing client on new work.
In this section of the handbook you can find out about:
- how we approach new work and the proposal process we follow - which differs depending on if it's an existing client or a new client
- how we prep for writing a proposal - again this differs for new and existing clients
- the process we follow for writing proposals.
Although these areas are closely linked to our client work chapter, we see them as business development activities as they are essentially about bringing in new work and being strategic in that approach.
