Proposal process with new clients
The aim of this section is to give an overview of the proposal process we go through with new clients that we haven't worked with in the past. This is a continuation of work already carried out as part of dealing with enquiries or more proactive outreach, where we have gathered some information on the client and decided they could be a potential good partner to work with.
Putting together a good proposal is an investment of our time, so we want to make sure our time is well spent and we are confident we would like to work with them. The amount of time that is reasonable to spend on this will also vary, depending on the size of the project and budget, and it is important to track the time we spend on it so we can get better at planning the work in as well as make it as efficient as possible.
Although the stages we go through follow a similar structure to the proposal process for existing clients, it is slightly different as it requires more time to onboard the client, explaining to them our process and what to expect, as well as the information we need to gather in order to get to know them better.
